<p>The <b><a title="House Sparrow" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_Sparrow">House Sparrow</a></b> (<i>Passer domesticus</i>, female shown here) is a member of the <a title="Old World" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_World">Old World</a>
<a title="Sparrow" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sparrow">sparrow</a> family Passeridae. It occurs naturally in most of <a title="Europe" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Europe">Europe</a> and much of <a title="Asia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asia">Asia</a>, but has been introduced to most other parts of the world. Despite being so common, it is often confused with the smaller and slimmer <a title="Tree Sparrow" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tree_Sparrow">Tree Sparrow</a>.</p><p><small>Photo credit: <a title="User:Fir0002" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Fir0002">Fir0002</a></small></p><br/>
