It actually happened last night when I was reading a magazine before bedtime...

I admitted that I was pretty tired at that time. The article I was reading was about boyfriend/non-husband (i.e. those guys who commit to live with you but can't commit to get married). Suddenly I skimmed the words "the rapist"...

WHAT? I was thinking. That's pretty scary, how come the subject of rapist would come up??

And so I took a closer look again, and actually it was, "... therapist said..."

It's pretty funny that "therapist" whom we go to and "the rapist" whom we try our best to avoid are actually just a difference of space!

so weird, you must be exhausted at the time.

anyway, it will be a good puzzle.

no... it just means that you don't know who a rapist is...

i think it is just "word" sensitive.  I have encountered the exact same situation before. although I know the meaning of the word, I just couldn't help associating it with some other words. weird.

maybe it has something to do with the brain... you know sometimes you want to write "apple" but you hear "orange" so you write down "orange" instead of "apple"? I always do that...
